Thank you so much for visiting my website! My name is Mark McCauley and I am what's known as an advanced amateur photographer. An advanced amateur photographer is someone who is serious about photography and does pro quality photography, but does not do it full time or as a profession.

I began photography when I got my first camera at the age of 14. My camera was a Canon AE1 which I used for more than a decade. I shot photos for my school newspaper and yearbook at Eastern Hills High School where I graduated from in 1988. I also took photos one year when I was at TCU and had numerous photos published in The Daily Skiff newspaper. I graduated from U.T. Arlington with a B.S. in Biology and work in the health care field.

Here is a self portrait of me. It always bugs me when I visit another photographers web site and there is no photo of themselves!
